John Wright is a seasoned government affairs expert with a proven track record in servicing the needs of not-for-profit organizations throughout New York. John is particularly adept at developing successful collaborations between not-for-profit organizations and government officials to assist under-served communities. Within government, John has a reputation for effectiveness, cooperation, geniality and the ability to help elected officials understand how collaborations with his clients can advance both the clients and elected official’s agendas and public priorities. John’s in-depth understanding of the not-for profit-community is based on his front line service in several social agencies. John served as Assistant Executive Director for the Center for Children and Families/Safespace, Inc. He was also the Assistant Executive Director of New York City’s oldest African-American-run child welfare agency, the Harlem Dowling-Westside Center. blue box
Larisa Wick is a strategic, efficient and committed government relations professional with a diverse and accomplished professional background in government affairs, regulatory affairs and public education marketing. As a lawyer and government relations professional, Larisa has assisted highly regulated industries, trade associations, and numerous not-for-profit organizations navigate legislative and procurement channels within City and State governments. Larisa’s career in government relations began in New York as an attorney with Wilson Elser, a prominent law and lobbying firm representing a diverse client base before New York City government. Larisa subsequently served as government relations manager for Emmis Communications, and worked as a lawyer and lobbyist at Cordo & Co. Her breadth of experience serves as the strong foundation from which she provides comprehensive and strategic counsel to the firm’s clients. blue box
Patricia P. Pulvirenti has been with The Wright Group since its inception in 2010. Patricia is a well-rounded professional bringing diverse experience from a variety of industries, both in the public and private sector. Patricia has a background in Science and Technology and holds advanced degrees in both Physics and Materials Engineering. She has worked at nascent IT start-ups, the Ames National Laboratory, as well as various private firms, including as a Transformer Design Engineer and a Materials Physicist. Patricia is also an inventor, and holds a materials improvement patent. As the Operations Manager at The Wright Group, Patricia draws on her past experience with Technological and Project Leadership, Scientific Research and Analysis, and Administration to form a core structure for The Wright Group. As an Administrator, Patricia heads Human Resources, Budget, Office Management. Patricia serves Wright Group clients as Lobbying Compliance adviser and compliance liaison. As the resident IT person, Patricia serves as Domain Administrator and Technical support. blue box
Emily Contillo serves as the firm’s Chief of Staff, and brings with her extensive experience in both government and political work, as well as within the non-profit sector. Her experience includes on-the-ground campaign work in Virginia ofr Barack Obama’s 2008 election campaign, which led her to work on Capitol Hill for various Members of Congress, including now-Senator Chris Van Hollen. After some time working for a State Senator in New Jersey, focusing on establishing relationships for him with key stakeholders and community partners in a recently redrawn district of Northern New Jersey, she transitioned over to non-profit work, where she joined the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Center in New York City. Emily brings with her a unique perspective and offers clients strategic insight into advancing their goals, while assisting the firm at large in her capacity as a detail-oriented project manager. blue box
Kristin Ruggles, is an experienced and capable government relations specialist. Kristin spent 14 years as Legislative and Committee Director to Senator Serphin Maltese. In her time in the Senate, Kristin researched, drafted and amended legislation, prepared the Senator for floor debates, and met with interest groups and individuals regarding legislation. Following her tenure with the Senate, Kristin worked for Cordo & Company and State & Broadway,
As a Government Relations Specialist at The Wright Group, Kristin provides services for clients in the areas of social, health and environmental justice, civil legal services, healthcare and cultural affairs. She also develops strategy to advance clients legislative priorities, while identifying and tracking legislation on their behalf. blue box
Antonio Quesada has a proven track record in nonprofit management and representing nonprofits before New York City and State governments. Antonio’s experience includes developing and cultivating individual, corporate, government and large donor relationships for nonprofits of all sizes. Prior to joining The Wright Group, Antonio led all aspects of donor development and fundraising, including foundation, individual, and corporate giving for one of the nation’s largest civil legal service providers. He also served in a leadership role by providing strategic guidance on government relations strategies, including City and State budget advocacy. Antonio’s background managing nonprofits, combined with his government relations skills, allows him to successfully help public and private sector clients grow their delivery of services to under served communities throughout New York City and New York State. blue box
Tina Dalton brings 10 years of experience in lobby firm management to The Wright Group. Prior to her work in government affairs, she worked at MVP Healthcare as a Training and Quality Assurance Manager in their claims division and supervised their provider credentialing department. Tina left MVP to accept a job with the New York State Nurses Association, where she served five years as the administrative manager in the Governmental Relations department. In 2007, she moved to the Albany lobby firm of Malkin & Ross, serving as their Director of Operations, overseeing the firm’s administrative staff, accounting, PAC administration and legislative-related communications with clients. blue box
Vincent Rossetti became engaged with state politics and the Albany scene at a young age. He participated in the Assembly Internship Program during the 2014 Legislative Session and spring boarded this experience into a full-time position as a Legislative Aide and Committee Clerk in the Office of Assemblyman Kevin Cahill. Later promoted to Legislative Director, Vincent worked on a wide range of legislative and constituent issues but focused much of his efforts on insurance and health care policy. Vincent also gained valuable political experience through his volunteer work on the Assemblyman’s re-election campaigns in 2014 and 2016. Most recently, Vincent served as a Legislative Analyst in the Senate where he worked on budget and policy issues in the areas of insurance, health, aging, labor and cultural affairs. Vincent joined the Wright Group in the fall of 2017. blue box
