Larisa holds the prestigious role of President at The Wright Group NY (TWG). Since joining the firm shortly after its inception in 2011, Larisa has dedicated her career to advancing the interests of nonprofit organizations. Her adept leadership in legislative, policy, and funding campaigns has been instrumental in influencing New York City government. Under her guidance, TWG has successfully spearheaded large-scale capital campaigns for some of New York City’s most prominent cultural institutions and developed numerous funding initiatives that enhance essential services and programs, promoting greater equity and access in the city’s most underfunded communities.

Larisa’s career in government relations began in 2004 as an Associate Attorney with Wilson Elser. Her journey then took her to Los Angeles, where she led the Government Relations practice at Emmis Communications. In this role, Larisa was pivotal in crafting and developing social marketing campaigns aimed at supporting California State initiatives. Her experiences on both coasts have endowed her with a comprehensive understanding of public policy and advocacy, enriching her capabilities to navigate the complex political landscapes of New York effectively.

Larisa's expertise is not confined to her professional endeavors; she is also deeply involved in community service and organizational governance. She currently presides over the Junior League of the Oranges & Short Hills (JLOSH), where she has served on the board for several years, demonstrating her commitment to community leadership and development. Additionally, Larisa is a member of the Board of Directors of LiveOn NY and holds a trusteeship with the California Thoroughbred Foundation, roles that further showcase her dedication to public service and community engagement.

Her legal acumen, gained from being licensed to practice law in New York, complements her vast experience in public affairs, enhancing her effectiveness as a lobbyist and advocate for systemic change. This unique blend of skills allows Larisa to craft sophisticated strategies that address complex issues, driving forward the mission of TWG to effect meaningful change within New York’s diverse communities
